Both Peterborough United and AFC Wimbledon have reluctantly agreed that Estadi Olimpico Camilo Cano, La Nucia, the stadium for Friday night’s friendly match, is unsuitable due to significant pitch damage.
The game will now take place on the training pitch where Posh have been based throughout this week (Campo 01, La Nucia Football Center) at 7pm (Spanish time). The pitch is next to the aforementioned stadium so supporters wishing to attend won’t have to alter their route and access will be in the same place.
Supporters wishing to attend are advised that;
- Access to the pitch is via a narrow, uphill gravel path.
- There are benches for attendees to sit on, catering for approximately 200.
- There is no shade provision.
- Those wishing to attend should bring plenty of water and a hat.
- Toilet facilities are present but limited, and are a 100-200m walk from the pitch.
- Refreshment facilities are also limited, a 100-200m walk from the pitch, and likely to be drinks only.
- Regretfully, we believe the site to be unsuitable for wheelchair users.
- Supporters with access requirements, we cannot take responsibility nor liability should you choose to attend.
- On -site security staff not under our control have informed us that there will be zero tolerance of alcohol/drug influence.
- Supporters attend at their own risk.
